Whatz ur view ka-Mzantsi...

After the Mamelodi Sundowns vs Barcelona game I got home positive about our ability to host 2010 Soccer World Cup. I've always believed that we will deliver but deep down I had my own doubts mainly about safety. While at Loftus, I got the feeling that great times are ahead of us and they actually here. Now the challenge is seeing those great times and enjoying them before hosting visitors ka-2010. The biggest challenge for nna other than safety is "The Bad News we read daily" ko di pampireng (excuse Se-Sotho sa ka). So I'm following the Good News of this country, stories that will build this country and I'm starting with me and my friends.

This is what the President of FIFA said about 2010. "From what I have seen and heard so far, I can say that South Africa is generally on track,” stated Blatter, who is in South Africa for the first time this year to monitor progress, especially with regards to stadium construction. Blatter said that it was “a great pleasure to be back in South Africa, in Africa, my continent.” He observed that negative reports around South Africans preparedness were driven by jealousy. “If you are good, people are jealous. There is a lot of jealousy out there because other countries realise that they cannot do it better. If there wasn’t any criticism, you would not be good,” he remarked. Now if FIFA President thinks that about us, then we need to think far better than we do currently.

Hey afterall we have 2010 and the brazillians showed styla ko-Loftus on Wednesday night. Lets share Good News ka-Mzantsi.
